안녕하세요!

Hello~

지난 12월 18일/19일에는 성하군의 2회의 Winter Special Concert가 있었지요.

서울 공연을 한지 3개월만에 이틀에 걸쳐 한 공연임에도 관객이 많이 온 성공적인 공연이라고 할 수 있었습니다.

회원들의 도움도 컸고요.

On last Dec. 18 & 29, Sungha had two "Winter Special Conert" at V-HALL in Seoul.

It was so successful.

12월 26일에 '성남 기타 문화 협회' 주관의 '성남 아트 센터 앙상블 시어터'에서 있는 '12월의 기타 이야기' 공연에 참여한 것으로 올해 연주회를 마무리하였습니다.

Sungha closed the year by attending "Guitar Story in December" at Sungnam Art Center on Dec. 26th.

그래서, 이번 소식지는 올해의 마지막으로 발행할 소식지가 될 것이며, 올해 성하군의 활동 내역을 정리해 보려 합니다.

무척 내용이 많으니 시간을 두고 천천히 읽으셔도 좋습니다. 저도 열흘 가까이 정리하고 있는 거네요. 후~

I've been working on this for almost 10 days.

[동영상, VIDEO]

올 1월에 2006년 9월에 유튜브에 처음 등장한 이래 40개월만에 유튜브 동영상 조회수 1억을 넘었습니다. 한국인으로는 최초라지요? 오늘 현재 1억 9780만 회가 넘어 조만간에 2억 조회수를 넘을 것으로 예상됩니다.

He became the first Korean to hit over 100 million views on YouTube. Total View till today is over 197.8 million and 200 million is not too far.

연말까지 몇개 더 올라올지도 모르겠지만, 올해에만 12월 28일 현재 94개의 동영상이 유튜브에 등록되었고, 지금까지 총 318개의 연주 영상이 올라와 있습니다.

He uploaded 94 videos this year and total 318 videos are on YouTube.

 

[첫번째 음반 Perfect Blue 발표, His first CD - Perfect Blue]

올 6월에 성하군의 첫번째 앨범 'Pefect Blue'가 발표되었습니다.

자작곡 두곡이 수록되었고, 나머지는 유튜브에서 인기있었던 곡들로 채워졌습니다.

1차로 찍어낸 음반은 다 팔렸고, 2차로 찍어서 현재 절찬 판매중입니다!

In June, he published his first CD 'Perfect Blue' at last.

There are two his originals and other beloved songs at YouTube.

The first press was sold out and the second press is on sale.

Trace Bundy의 초청으로 첫번째 미국 투어를 성공적으로 마쳤습니다.

Trace Bundy invited him to US and it was successful!

// [2/19 ~ 24] Finland

성하군이 삼촌같이 여기는 Tomi Paldanius의 기획으로 Tomi의 고향인 핀랜드에서의, 그리고 유럽에서의 첫 단독 공연을 성공적으로 마쳤지요.

The Finnish guitarist and producer - Tomi Paldanius who Sungha considers him as an uncle planned the concert in Finland. It was the first Solo concert in Europe.

// [3/19] With Ulli Boegershausen @ Rhein, Germany

성하군의 스승이라 할 수 있는 Ulli Boegershausen과 함께 독일 Rhein에서 공연이 있었습니다.

이 공연을 위해 독일에 갔을 때, Perfect Blue 녹음이 Ulli 선생의 스튜디오에서 이뤄졌습니다.

Live concert with Sungha's mentor Ulli @ Rhein, Germany.

He recorded his first CD "Perfect Blue" in Ulli's studio.

 

// [3/23] KBS 열린 음악회, KBS TV 'Open Concert'

꾸준한 인기를 얻고 있는 TV 음악회인 열린 음악회 무대에도 올랐습니다. 팬들의 반응은 별로였습니다.

He played on the stage of the famous TV live show of KBS TV 'Open Concert'

// [4/13] Childhelp's 50th anniversary charity concert @ Washington DC

올 1월 미국의 거대 자선단체인 Childhelp의 50주년 기념 및 아이티의 지진 참사로 어려움에 처한 어린이를 돕기 위한 공연에 초대되어 미국 무대에 다시 한번 올랐습니다. 이 공연은 최고의 팝 작곡가이며 프로듀서 중 하나인 David Foster의 기획 및 사회로 진행되었으며, 유명 팝스타와 함께 했습니다.

He was invited to the Childhelp's 50th anniversary charity concert in Washington DC. This show was directed by one of the famous pop music composers and producers - David Foster.

이젠 5월에 매년 열리는 페스티벌로 자리잡아 가는 '서울 재즈 페스티벌'에 정식 연주자로 초대되어 무대에 올랐습니다.

He was invited to the official player of Seoul Jazz Festival.

              Special concert for KEB at KEB Plaza, Seoul

외환은행과의 CF 인연으로 을지로 시내 한복판에서 공연을 하기도 했네요.

Sungha took CF for KEB and had a special concert at KEB plaza.

             He is appointed as the honorary member of "Korea Internet Dream Star"

              International Fingerstyle Guitar Festival @ PKU Centennial Memorial Hall / Beijing University

드디어 중국에도 진출!!! YouTube 접근이 불가능한 중국에도 그들의 팬들은 많았습니다!

At last he appeared in China! There were many fans even though it's prohibited to access YouTube in China. 

 

// [8/10] 서울시합창단 "청소년을 위한 Summer Concert 꿈 꿈 꿈" @ 세종문화회관

              Seoul Metropolitan Chorus - 'Summer Concert' @ Sejong Grand Theater

서울시 합창단의 정기 공연에 초대 받아서 세종 문화 회관 무대에 올랐습니다.

작년 Swell Season 내한 당시 게스트 초대 이후 두번째던가요? 흠.

인순이씨도 함께 했던 무대군요.

He was invited to the guest musician to the concert of Seoul Metropolitan Chorus.

Sejong Grand Theater is the biggest art center in Korea and it's great honor to be there as an artist.

He already appeared there twice.

 

// [8/28~9/12] Perfect Blue 발매 기념 전국 투어

                      'Perfect Blue' promotional tour in Korea

첫번째 앨범 Perfect Blue 발매 기념 한국에선 처음으로 공연 기획사와 함께 진행된 공식적인 공연이었습니다.

반응이 무척 좋았지요!

The first concert with the promoter in Korea.

// [9/23~28] Perfect Blue 발매 기념 프로모션 투어 @ 일본

                   'Perfect Blue' promotional tour in Japan

일본에서도 Perfect Blue가 일본판 패키지로 라이센스되어 나오면서, 오사카 음악 전시회에 맞춰 일본 투어가 있었습니다.

이 때 성하군과 친한 Kotaro Oshio가 진행하는 라디오 방송에도 출연했다죠.

Since his 'Perfect Blue' was licensed in Japan, he had a promotional tour in Japan.

During this period, he was aired on the radio show of Kotaro Oshio.

Tomi Paldanius가 기획하는 BAGC 2010이 올해에도 열렸습니다. 올해엔 Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee와 함께 성하군이 메인 주자로 무대에 올랐습니다. 태국 팬들의 환대가 인상적이었던 투어네요.

He was one of the headliners with Tommy Emmanuel and Andy McKee at BAGC 2010 in Thailand. Many Thai fans welcome him.

Trace Bundy의 초대로 두번째 미국 투어를 했습니다. 이번엔 동부!!! 대단했다죠!

겨울 특별 공연을 서울에서 이틀간에 걸쳐 했습니다.

9월에 왔던 서울에, 그것도 이틀이나 해서 걱정했습니다만 성황리에 무사히 마쳤습니다.

외환은행 TV 광고에 나와서 자주 TV에서 볼 수 있었습니다.

이문세씨가 진행하는 라디오 프로그램에 출연하여 연주와 이야기를 들려주었습니다.

He played and told the story at the radio show of LEE Moon-Se. LEE Moon-Se is very famous singer and DJ.

MBC FM의 공익 광고인 '잠깐만~'에 1주일간 매일 3회에 걸쳐 성하군의 목소리가 나왔습니다.

We could hear the public campaigns of MBC FM by Sungha's voice for one week.

산울림의 김창환님이 진행하던 스튜디오 라이브 TV쇼인 '라라라'에 성하군이 나왔습니다.

무척 귀여워하는 김창환님의 미소가 기억에 남습니다.

He appeared and played at the studio live TV show 'LALALA'.

프랑스의 Michel Haumont가 자신의 정규 앨범에 Sungha's Waltz란 곡을 만들어서 실었습니다.

French guitarist 'Michel Haumont' composed 'Sungha's Waltz' and it was put in his official album.

 

// 나르샤 I'm in Love 기타 세션

    Guitar session in 'I'm in Love' by Narsha

여성 가수 '나르샤'의 I'm Yours란 곡에 기타 세션을 했습니다.

He recorded the guitar session in 'I'm Yours' of the young famous female singer 'Narsha'.

성하군의 사인이 넥에 새겨진 시그너쳐 기타를 레이크우드에서 만들어주었습니다.

The German guitar manufacture 'Lakewood' made him a signature model.
